PlayThru Seller FAQs
Collapsible row
Do I need to own a golf business to sell on PlayThru?
No. PlayThru welcomes individual golfers, collectors, golf professionals, instructors, approved retailers, and independent golf sellers. Every seller must meet PlayThru’s seller and listing requirements.
Does PlayThru approve sellers before they can sell?
Yes. PlayThru reviews seller applications before granting access to the seller portal. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
If approved, you will receive instructions for accessing your seller account, completing your profile, and submitting your first listing.
Is there a fee to list an item?
There is no fee to create an approved listing during PlayThru’s launch period.
Collapsible rowWhat does PlayThru charge when an item sells?
PlayThru deducts a 7% marketplace commission from the item’s selling price.
Standard payment-processing fees, shipping expenses, refunds, chargebacks, and other applicable costs are separate from the PlayThru commission.
The PlayThru commission is not calculated on sales tax or buyer-paid shipping.
How much would I receive from a $200 sale?
For an item selling for $200:
- Selling price: $200
- PlayThru commission at 7%: $14
- Seller amount before payment-processing and shipping costs: $186
Your final payout may be adjusted for payment-processing fees, shipping-label costs, refunds, returns, disputes, chargebacks, or other applicable costs.
When will I receive my money?
Buyer payments are collected by PlayThru at checkout. Seller earnings are not released immediately.
After carrier-confirmed delivery, the buyer has 48 hours to inspect the item and report a qualifying problem. If the buyer accepts the item or does not report a problem during the inspection period, the order becomes eligible for seller payout.
If a problem is reported, payment will remain pending while PlayThru reviews the order.
